Hello everyone!
I hope you all have had a wonderful and blessed Christmas. It’s been awhile since I last spoke to you all about my personal life. At that point in life, I had just started this blog, and shared about my calling to ministry. I shared that I knew seminary was my next step, but I didn’t know where.
Well, after lots of prayer and consideration, I am excited to officially announce that I will be attending The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in the fall of 2021.
I did not come to this decision lightly. Theological education has always been very important to me, and I wanted to make the best decision. Based on what I believe, knowledge about the school, prayer, counseling from pastors and friends, this is the institution for me.
Additionally, I would like to thank Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in providing me with information about their school. Out of all the seminaries I considered, Midwestern and Southern were tied as my top two choices. Because Midwestern is a great school, the decision was harder to make.
I highly respect Midwestern and all that it stands for. In fact, one of my favorite theologians of today, Owen Strachan, is the associate professor of Christian theology there.
I want to say thank you for all the encouragement from those who helped me navigate this decision. Thank you to each and every one who has suffered through to listen to me, those who have prayed with and for me, and those who have poured into me and discipled me over the years. I could not have made it without you wonderful people.
I am overwhelmed with how amazing God is and his sovereignty over my life. I am super thankful for God’s provision for me. To God be the glory, great things He has done.
